I’ve always believed that the heart of Seoul isn’t found in guidebooks or trendy spots, but in the quiet corners — the tiny restaurants, hidden cafés, and backstreets that tell their own stories. Hidden Seoul Food began as my way of sharing those discoveries — places I’ve stumbled upon by chance, meals that surprised me, and spaces that capture the city’s soul. This blog is for anyone who loves exploring what’s unseen, tasting what’s forgotten, and finding beauty in the hidden sides of Seoul.

Oasis Cafe, Apgujeong: A Hidden Brunch Gem 🥂🍓
Oasis Cafe & Restaurant Cheongdam
20 Dosan-daero 55-gil, Gangnam District, Seoul
This brunch spot has been one of my weekend favorites for as long as I can remember, and I love that it’s still going strong, always bustling with happy customers. I usually come here for their perfectly made eggs Benedict and a solid cup of coffee, but since I’ve quit coffee completely, today I treated myself to tea, fresh juice, sandwiches, and French toast topped with berries. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, with just the right balance of flavors.
Tucked away behind the busy streets of Apgujeong, the café feels like a little hidden gem. Its warm, cozy vibe and charming design are reminiscent of a corner café in Europe — the kind of place you stumble upon during a leisurely walk and immediately want to linger. It’s the type of spot that transforms brunch into a small ritual, a moment to savor rather than just another meal.
If you’re looking for a place to slow down, enjoy thoughtful dishes, and soak in a cozy atmosphere, Oasis Cafe is a perfect choice.
