A Vegan Feast That Won Me Over 🌿🍝

 Sunny Bowl
18 Sungmun 16-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul

I’m not vegan, but every dish they served completely won me over. Each plate was bursting with flavor and creativity, a thoughtful balance of color, texture, and aroma that made it hard to believe no animal products were involved. The chefs clearly knew how to turn plants into something extraordinary.

One standout was the spicy pasta topped with fresh coriander — a dish that managed to strike the perfect harmony between heat and brightness. The kick from the chili built up slowly, balanced by the cool, herbal freshness of the coriander. It was bold yet comforting, and I honestly couldn’t get enough of it.

At one point, I overheard another diner — channeling her inner Meg Ryan from When Harry Met Sally — making that unmistakable sound while savoring her meal. Safe to say, she was just as impressed. The whole table burst into laughter, and for a moment, the restaurant felt like a scene straight out of a feel-good film.

Beyond the incredible food, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, striking that perfect balance between professional and personal. It made the entire experience feel easy and memorable — the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit.

Whether you’re vegan or not, this spot proves that plant-based dining can be every bit as exciting, satisfying, and crave-worthy as any meal you’ve ever had. Come hungry, leave inspired.
