I’ve always believed that the heart of Seoul isn’t found in guidebooks or trendy spots, but in the quiet corners — the tiny restaurants, hidden cafés, and backstreets that tell their own stories. Hidden Seoul Food began as my way of sharing those discoveries — places I’ve stumbled upon by chance, meals that surprised me, and spaces that capture the city’s soul. This blog is for anyone who loves exploring what’s unseen, tasting what’s forgotten, and finding beauty in the hidden sides of Seoul.

A Perfect Day in L.A.
Great White
244 N Larchmont Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90004, United States
Los Angeles is, without a doubt, one of my favorite places in the world. Even though I was only in the city for a short three-day visit, I knew exactly where I needed to go for an unforgettable meal.
There’s a spot I always return to — a cozy, vibrant place known for its fresh, healthy salads and sandwiches. It’s the kind of restaurant that instantly lifts your mood. Even on an overcast day like today, dining there somehow made everything feel a little sunnier.
Of course, the word is out about how good this place is. I waited about 45 minutes for a table — and honestly, it was worth every second. But with my stomach grumbling (it was already past 2 PM), I made a strategic move: I popped across the street to Eggslut for a quick bite. Their egg, bacon, and lettuce sandwich hit the spot — a warm, savory “appetizer” to tide me over.
While standing outside enjoying my snack, I even met a friendly (and very photogenic) Doberman from Australia. Just another reminder that in L.A., surprises can be found around every corner — often with four legs and a wagging tail.
When I finally sat down for my actual meal, every bite reminded me why this spot has earned a permanent place on my must-visit list. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors perfectly balanced, and the vibe? Relaxed and effortlessly cool. Even after my pre-meal indulgence, the food still felt nourishing — the kind that satisfies without weighing you down.
Now, with a full belly and a happy heart, I'm off to the beach to catch the last light of the day. Cloudy or not, L.A. always knows how to serve up magic.
